PACT is a playgroup/preschool/parent program for you and all your children, aged 0-5, to attend together.
"This is a great program for parents of preschool children." Martha Sears, RN, and co-author of over 40 books on parenting.
For Your Child
It is a stimulating child-directed playgroup that supports your child’s development through play centres of play-dough, painting, crafts, floor toys, dress-up, books, puzzles, building blocks, song/music instruments and more!
PACT is different from other playgroups and preschools. While the children play, parents, grandparents and caregivers participate in thought-provoking discussion groups that focus on friendship as well as learning about child development, and navigating everyday parenting challenges and joys. Discussion groups are facilitated by a parent educator.
Discussion Group Topics:
Child Development and Growth
and many other topics such as travel with children, school choices, talking about the birds and bees and more. Topics are selected by the participants each session and presented by the parent educator/facilitator.
Help your child build confidence, curiosity, communication skills, and cooperativeness by participating in a fun, centre-based playgroup/preschool. They will gain readiness skills for school and life!
Learn about respectful parenting practices and come out and make some new friends! Our programs are currently on a temporary hold. We look forward to talking with you in the Fall of 2021. Stay healthy!
If you have any questions or concerns about any of your child’s milestones or development please consider contacting our friends at Lead Foundation 403-720-7912.
